Scanning in
A guest scans the code at the door and a page opens on their own phone. If they're on your list they're recognized and checked in — or the desk can mark them in directly.
A checked-in guest gets a Checked In badge with the time. Any selfie taken opens from their entry, or browse them all with the arrow keys.
Nobody gets turned away
Someone not on the list can still be checked in. They're added as a walk-in, counted as attending, and folded into your totals — no second list to reconcile.
Guests who were never sent a link can be found by phone number at the desk instead.
It knows where they sit
With a seating chart built, a checked-in guest is pointed to their table on the confirmation, and your floor plan shows which seats have filled.
The same confirmation carries their souvenir code — one scan at the door sets up everything after it.
Reading the room
The guest list shows total guests, attending, declined, undecided, total pax, and how many have checked in — updating as the door moves.
Guests and pax count separately throughout. Eighty invitations attending might be a hundred and fifty people through the door — and it's the second number the caterer needs.
